The second day of racing is repechage day.
Things were heating up and were not looking easy. There was a very strong field linning up in the second heat of W1x.
The opponents: Isolda Penney (35 yo, Canada's revelation of the year, relatively unknown internationally), Frida Swenson ( againts whom Sara has already won at junior level; olimpic rower in Athens'04 and Beijing'08, bronze at WC'06), Agata Gramatyka ( A finalist at European Champs'08 and '09 e Gold FISU WC).
In the end: 8'31.29 and the right to row a B final tomorrow.
Final times rather slow reflecting the adverse weather conditions which latter motivated the postponement of the races.
